So who's behind all this?

Can you believe it!?! I’ve finally updated this damn page.

  • I have a pug named Sid whom I’m sure is very intelligent, he just chooses not to show me that side. I spoil him by attending pug meetups where he spends the day sniffing and running with other pugs.
  • I live in South Minneapolis and love it here. The only thing missing is the ocean. And I could do without the mosquitoes and frost bite.

And now a little history:

Childhood

I entered the world back when people wore bell-bottoms and smoked a lot of weed. That’s 1975. My parents met while separately traveling the country and bumped into each other in Florida. I guess it was a pretty good bump, cause here I am — existing and stuff. They moved all of us back to Minnesota to be around my Mom’s family up in Stearns County. read more »

the Teen Years

Life was pretty much sunshine and cherries until my 13th birthday. You see, my family usually took a trip out west or somewhere for a week each summer. Included in this was the badlands and St Louis where my Grandparents lived. But one year when I was 12, we took an entire summer and traveled everywhere out west. From Montana to Yellowstone, down through Colorado and Pikes Peak, and further to Utah and Salt Lake City. It was a fun escape, but it didn’t dawn on me that it was an exploratory trip for Mom and Dad. read more »

my Twenties

My junior year in college, we moved into our first apartment together down in St. Paul. It was a great year. We had many friends and even had a foreign exchange student spend the summer with us. As we grew closer, I proposed in a not so romantic fashion, but she still said “yes”. We got married back in 1999. read more »
