Molly joined me for my 4th year at CON along with a bunch of other first timers. It was great to see all the fantastic costumes again. Then on Sunday we celebrated Molly's birthday. |
Ann is moving to Arizona. So we had a larger than usual Rock Band Tuesday party to send her off. Good luck, Ann, we'll miss you! |
We've been doing our weekly Rock Band evenings for a while. This time I grabbed the camera and snapped a few of our shenanigans. |
We threw a group together last minute to compete in this year's Pedal Pub race. We ended up with the 6th best time out of 21 teams. Clearly our overly thought out action plan paid off! |
Our favorite Otter karaoke host is moving on to greener pastures. So most of us attended a little party in her honor. We'll miss you, K! |
When returning from our weekend plans, Luis wasn't in good shape. Within an hour, his body shut down and Molly and I decided to help relieve his suffering. :( Here are a collection of my favorite Luis pictures celebrating the last two years of his life. |
Our family gathered again to celebrate my cousin's wedding. It was a beautiful service downtown followed by reception at the Nicollet Island Pavillion. Afterwards, a few of us wandered to Nyes for last call. |
A while back, I commissioned Angelo to finish his other bar scene. Once it was finished, we turned our Rock Band night into an art release party and added Joe Finn's birthday to the shenanigans. |
This year, I met up with friends at the Legion in St. Louis Park. After drinking our weight in Jameson and beer, we closed out the bar with dancing and karaoke. |
How could we not celebrate?! Fancy sous vide steaks and blowjob shots for everyone. Then our typical drunken Rock Band shenanigans. |
Since Rock Band Tuesday was the day after Valentine's Day, Claire suggested we all trade cheesy cards and candy like we did as kids. :) |
I headed north once again to join Lindsay and her family for a vintage sled run around Benton county. The great weather and plenty of beer kept the continual breakdowns from hampering a good time in the snow. |
The Landmark Theater had a midnight showing of Disco Dolls in Hot Skin (3D), so of course we went to see it! Beforehand, we ate pie and had a big screen viewing of the complete pterodactyl porn scene. |
We skipped a Tuesday Rock Band night to join our friend, Kari, for her birthday at Nyes. Clearly the awesome turnout reveals how much we love her. :) Happy birthday, sweetheart! |
Our friend, Anita, decided to try for the 2011 Klondike Kate. Crystal sewed her dress, so she, Kari, and I went to cheer Anita on. She made it to the final 3 before letting another girl win, but performed wonderfully. Congrats on your performance, Anita! |

Since many of us didn't do family things for the big day, we gathered at The Manfort for Addam's lamb stew and figgy pudding - along with Rock Band, of course. Plus it's Luis's birthday! He's now 13. |
Our annual SDU Day was even better than the last. Brunch at CC Club, the Art Institute, and then strip Rock Band and lots of drinks. |
After Madison, Warr and I spent two days in the windy city, (mostly in Boystown). After dropping Warr of at Job Corps, I went back downtown for Al's famous italian beef sandwich. |
Kevin got a job with Epic in Madison. He gave Warr and I a tour of the large campus. Pretty amazing buildings! |
On our way to Chicago, Warr and I stopped in Madison to see Kevin. Catherine met up with us and we all had a blast at the Inferno and then the Essenhaus. |
This year, I brined the turkey overnight in smoked sea salt. Best bird I ever cooked! Great friends brought more great dishes and we ended in an evening of Rock Band. |
Danielle hosted her annual Halloween party at her place, so Toni, Shayne, Jason, and I stopped in. Great to see everybody again! Afterwards, we took a limo to the Otter. |
Crystal and I threw an epic Halloween party at the Manfort. Tons of friends showed up in their disco finery and we had an awesome night. |
We went to Memory Lanes for Zach's birthday. We enjoyed cheap beer, bowling, and horrible live punk music. |
I joined Warr and a few peeps at the start of this year's Zombie Pub Crawl. After having my fill of the undead, I left for more lively pastures where I could get a martini that didn't come in a plastic cup. |
Kevin got a job in Madison, so we held a little going away party for him. A few of his friends joined us for an evening of Rockband and beer. |
Jessica and I took a road trip to Taylor's Falls to see the fall leaves. A stop in Stillwater for burgers completed a great day. |
We all helped Crystal celebrate her birthday at the Independent for fancy cocktails and appetizers. Good times for all. :) |
Bec hosted a brunch at her place to commemorate another year for her and Crystal. Boozy coffee, mimosas, pancakes, and breakfast goodies made for a fun Sunday morning. |
Sid is now 4! He and Luis each got a bowl of ham and all beef franks to celebrate. Nom, nom, nom... |
