Bertine had everyone over for potluck Tapas. Coconut shrimp, fried rabbit, and lots of other goodies were consumed. We helped our digestion along with Wii games and then ended the party at the Casa de Pantalones. |
Sid was starting to smell a bit, so it was time for a bath. Scrub a dub, dub, Sid in the tub. Afterwards he got ham for being such a good boy. |
We celebrated Bob's 84th birthday at Jon's Our Bar gig. Afterwards we stopped in at Nyes for a few more songs with Mike where Lou Snyder had already started the night. |
In dishonor of PETA's new Sea Kitten fad, we made a pilgrimage to McDonald's for 17 Filet-O-Fish sandwiches to snack on for our regular Wednesday night Rockband gathering. |
Tiffiny and Nicholas hosted a party to celebrate Obama's Inauguration. People came dressed as their favorite revolutionary and I served Obamatini's. |
I stopped in to visit the Badger for the first time since his release. Good to see my brother in street clothes again. |
We gathered at Shira's house for her birthday and ate many yummy snacks, tiramisu birthday cake, sangria, and plenty of rum. |
Every Friday, Jeff plays piano for a featured singer at Camp Bar. This time was Henry, so I headed over to listen in and enjoy a martini. |
Becky plays in a Old World band known as "Classic Klezmer", a type of music with roots in Eastern Europe. I went to listen in while they played at Susan Armington's studio for her birthday. |

We got together down at the Legion for some karaoke action and to celebrate Toni's and Kari's birthdays. Lots of cake, shots, beer, dancing, and singing. |

James and Sarah threw a party for New Years Eve. Lots of Totinos party pizzas were consumed along with rice pudding and champagne. Welcome 2009! |
Jessica's favorite movie is the Big Lebowski, so for her birthday we threw a theme party with costumes and tons of white russians. Sid was the Purple Jesus thanks to Crystal's sewing skills. :) |
Our 20 hour steampunk themed holiday party was a huge success. Highlights included fresh morning popovers, Christmas movies, tasty fresh baked treats, Chris's juicy turkey, the blizzard outside, hot tub, pantless Pants cookies, and lots of good friends. |
Jessica decided that there isn't ample opportunity to dress up and be sexy, so we decided to have a sexy dress up day. After brunch, we drank mimosas at the Manfort and then went to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts to show off our duds. |
Jeff and Monty threw a holiday party for their friends with lots of great hors d'oeuvres and Patrick manning the bar. Great company, great drinks, and lots of carols sung. |
Because we just can get enough of each other, we got together at Tiff's again for Wii night. Skiing, boxing, bowling, and Wario. All with spastic movements to make the Mii's move on the screen. :) |
Karl has returned to Minnesota, so we threw a little get together at Tiff's condo. Karl baked his infamous cookies and Tiff made a great pot roast. Games, great snacks, hot tub, and wine rounded out the evening nicely. |
Dick and Elena hosted another piano bar night with Jon De Vaal at their place for the holidays. Great snacks were consumed and lots of Christmas songs sung. A great time for all. |
We hadn't been down to the Chatterbox for karaoke with Geoff in a long time. With new people in tow, we rocked the mic with lots of old skool 80's hits. |
Crystal hosted a drinkathon party on Black Friday. We watched "Ella Enchanted", "Shrek", and "The Princess Bride" with drinking rules. And there was pie. |
Since the family Thanksgiving was the weekend before, I hosted Turkey Day at the Manfort. Everyone brought something delicious to share and we ate enough to induce food comas. |
I joined Bec and Madison down at the Kitty Cat Klub to hear Brian get down with some of his old band mates from Greazy Meal. The Klub is always a great venue and the music was stellar. |
The Pants is on a mission to have the mayor join us for Rock Band night. He's always invited and said "maybe" on facebook this time. I made a mask just in case, so we could party with Ryback regardless. |
Katie now lives in the ol' Karlplatz and decided to put up her tree early. I stopped in to help trim the tree by keeping the beer population in check. |
We decided to go bowling Lebowski-style, but no lanes were free. So we drank beer, stopped off for bacon and cheese, and went back to the Manfort for a night of beer, bacon, and booze. Until the bacon smog became so thick you couldn't see. |
Bertine hosted a potluck brunch for her birthday. Lots of mimosas and breakfast goodies were consumed while the kitties entertained. |
Lynn threw herself a birthday bash complete with a keg and karaoke. Kari and I drove down to join in the fun. |
After hearing of my infamous Pear Martinis, everyone had to try one. So a little impromtu gathering at the Manfort fixed that. We may have had one or two too many. ;) |
Henry and Scott threw a Halloween party to celebrate their union and have all their friends present. It was quite a spread! And was good to see lots of friendly and familiar faces enjoying themselves. |
Jesspants and Ann combined a Halloween party with a house-warming bash to welcome friends to their flat. We ate snacks and played Rock Band and proved our xBox skillz. |
