David Sedaris in the House

I’m a couple of days late posting this, but such incredibly clever wit such as this guy cannot go unpraised. When Marcel told me to tag along to the next David Sedaris visit - I have to admit, I had heard the name, but had it connected to jazz or something in my head. So when I showed up to the UofM bookstore for a “signing” appearance, I was more than delightfully surprised to find out he was the NPR guy that writes those funny stories. After hearing him read a new story out of his latest book, I’ve became an immediate fan. Definitely will have to add his books to my collection.

And to the girl who recognized my coop tat, thanks, but I have to admit signing your friend’s boss’s book makes me feel a bit guilty. If Mr. Sedaris, you ever read this for whatever reason - here is my formal apology for forging your name. I don’t even know what the john hancock looks like, but maybe this boss doesn’t either and will be ever more pleased that he has a “signed” copy of Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim.
