Merry Christmas!

I hope your having a good one. Mine has not been too bad so far. Mom sent me some excellent books and I get an extra day and a half off paid. We also had a nice meal today, and we’re having a couple of good concerts put on by the inmate bands. The best thing about this Christmas though, is that now there are only 3 more until I can spend them with you guys!

How have you been? Mom mentioned that she had gone to watch you give one of your chior concerts. Have you done anything else for the holidays?

I haven’t been doing much other than making cards, (thanks again for the money you sent for my birthday - it really helped out on the art supplies), and working. I did get a different job at UNICOR. Now I trim the threads off the waist bands and the leg hems of the shorts. It’s boring, but with the cool scissors they give me, it’s kind of like being in an old chises movie, only not. I also get paid a lot more. Now I make 2.4 cents per shorts or about $5 per day. As I get faster, I can pump that up to $6 to $8 per day. Watch out Bill Gates!!

Mom had mentioned that you guys misplaced Joy’s application for visiting so I’m sending you a new one. Just be sure to mail it to the address on the form and not to me.

Well, that’s about all the news - I just wanted you to know I’m thinking about you and wishing I was there to share the holidays with you. Merry Christmas to you and Joy, and Joy’s friend if she’s still there.
