Build your own LEGO drink!

I ordered a couple of these months ago only to be alerted that the item was on backorder. Damn it. I wanted LEGO ice and I wanted LEGO ice NOW!!

I quickly forgot about them, however, and went about my daily existance. Then with a frequency of about once a month, the nice folks at LEGO shop at home sent me letters to inform me that the expected ship date was to be delayed yet another month. And another. And another. So on and so forth. Well, at least they bothered to tell me and wrote it all out on their official LEGO stationary and all. I soon resigned myself to the fact that I’d never have LEGO ice and moved on.

But then - yesterday - I received notice that my LEGO ice trays were shipped and are now on their way! Yay! Soon I’ll be able to enjoy a Jack-Coke on the LEGOs (instead of on the rocks, duh). That’ll be shaken, not stirred please. One may even be able to build a clever LEGO ice glass to drink said drink out of. Cool!

And in case you’ve been wondering why I’m so excited about this:
Yes - I’m a LEGO nerd. And have many sets that I still play with. :)
