The harvesting is done!! They needed 5,000 stem cells and got 6,400. At least Kevin knows all those nasty tummy pokes served their purpose. Those stem babies multiplied faster then rabbits! One more chapter of the journey complete! Now he will have labs on Thursday and then start his 4th round of chemo at Children’s on Monday! He is feeling much better today—nausea gone and energy back to the tolerable level. It is remarkable that as his system becomes more depleted, he adapts and it seems like the normal way to feel. But at least he can get out and enjoy some camaraderie with friends and do some fun things before admit to Children’s on Monday.
