Visitor Denied

By Badger
July 31, 2007 - 1:00pm.

I got news about Jen’s visiting “privileges”. She was denied due to security risks stemming from the fact that she hadn’t known me prior to my going to prison. Obviously anyone who would go to a prison to visit someone they haven’t met before is a serious threat to hearth, home, national security, and whoever approves visitors. In fact, the persona non grata reply that I received had serious tones of shock and appall that someone would even entertain such a thought, much less actually make the request.

Of course this leads me to wonder who I will hang out with once I get out. I’ve been told in no uncertain terms that I can no longer associate with, mention, think of, or even remember anyone except family that I knew before I came to prison for fear of getting swatted across the knuckles with a large ruler. Now I find out that the world will end in a spectacular and totally exciting fashion (kind of like the ending to “War of the Worlds”) if I met anyone who didn’t know me prior to coming to prison. So, I guess I’ll just sit in a chair facing the corner of my apartment when I get out. I’m looking forward to it already.

I found out that if Jen would have checked the magic box that states she had known me before I became a feared scallywag, everything would have been OK. So part of the blame is mine for not anticipating this problem. I did not even read the visiting form, I just mailed it to you. But, tell her thanks for trying. It’s nice to know that she is even interested in meeting me while I’m still locked up.

How’s everything else going? Are you still spending all day at work on the internet? Must be tough. Myself, I do real work: crossword puzzles, hangman, letter-writing, etc. Our factory is dead for the next 4 months or so. In fact, they just went to 2 shifts. Now instead of working all day, most guys are down to half days. Thankfully, I’m such a valued employee that they can’t afford to part with my expertise and diligence for half the day.

I was glad to hear Kevin came through all his tests alright. He definitely could use a break after all this crap. I’ve been trying to come up with an idea for a picture to draw for him for Christmas. I don’t really want to do another caricature for him since he’s alredy got 2, but I have no idea what kind of art or regular pictures he’s into. Any ideas?

Well, I’m out of things to write. Thanks for the jokes and letters. Tell Jen thanks for the effort.

My camera is fancy and takes cool pics of you and all kinds of stuff. Look for your captured likeness in my gallery and peek at other victims of the camera’s flash.

It is an interesting and demonstrable fact, that all children are atheists and were religion not inculcated into their minds, they would remain so.
