Synopsis:

Mary (Parker Posey), a flighty, unemployed, 24-year-old Manhattanite, is trying to get her life in order — from rent to romance to finding a real job. Along the way, she loves and loses, gets thrown in jail for having an illegal “rent party,” gets hired (and then fired and rehired) as a library clerk, and hopefully, grows up a bit in the process. A quintessential “Generation X” comedy.
