Japanese Bug Fights!

Uck! This is utterly disgusting, like watching the “giant centipede eats a mouse” youtube video. But I can’t help but be fascinated by these battles and watch them in their entirety.

The cast of contenders includes most all of Earth’s giant multi-legged creatures. From crayfish to spiders to centipedes to insects. They’ve 30 battle videos posted so far and you’d be surprised to find out which bug wins in the nefarious pairings. Let me just say that the potato bug (or Jerusalem cricket) kicks ass — that’s one tough bug.

The rules are as follows:

  1. Two Bugs to a fight
  2. Bug fights go on as long as they have to
  3. No outside weapons in Bug Fights

These vids will make your skin crawl.

*Watch at your own risk — you can’t say I didn’t try to warn you.

Dustin says:

Hey! I could probably hook you up with some Potato Bugs. Maybe you would like one for a guard dog?!

Truly!? You’ve seen one of those big-ass crickets? I used to collect bugs and I’ve never seen one before.

And Sid is my guard dog!

It is not certain whether the one you have now is the one you will be with for the rest of your life… There’s even no guarantee if the one you just met is the one who will love you forever… Coz’ there’s no such things as the ideal man or woman, no such thing as the right person, or the right one. It is us who can make love to last a lifetime. So if somebody asks you, is s/he the right one? You can answer, “I’m not sure, but I intend to make him/her my only one.”
