A few years ago, Kevin was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer. It was his junior year in high school and was a devastating blow to everyone to realize that such a great kid would have to deal with such a disease. Kevin pulled through though, and was even stronger than before. His new outlook on life having stared death in the face was beyond what most of us will ever achieve.
Now after graduation and his start at St. John’s College, the cancer has returned. In force. Once again Kevin is battling to survive and remain as cheery as possible while the poisonious chemo permeates his body.
Mom maintains Kevin’s story battling cancer on a Caring Bridge site provided by the hospital. I duplicate the entries here as an archive.
I look forward to editing this story after this summer and Kevin once again reigns victorious.
